Participants record short phrases. Care teams manage studies and review submitted sessions.
SoundWell is exploring whether voice patterns collected over time
can add useful context for care teams supporting heart failure.

Can patterns in repeated short speech samples provide useful context alongside a person’s care journey?
Research focus 1 of 4: Voice over time
Read a prompt, record in your own words,
then review before you submit.
Can I listen to my recording first?
Yes. Play it back, re-record if you want, then continue to the next phrase.
And if I need to stop halfway through?
You can leave the session without saving and return to your assigned study later.
Research vision
We’re studying whether patterns in speech over time can add context for care teams supporting people with congestive heart failure. Earlier recognition and fewer hospitalizations are goals to investigate, not outcomes we can promise.
How we approach the researchSoundWell is a research-stage, voice-based remote monitoring platform. Participants record short spoken phrases on a schedule set by their care or research team. The research explores whether changes in voice over time may offer useful context about heart health.
No. Patient access is invitation only. A member of your care or research team creates your account and sends you a six-character invite code.
Your team assigns the schedule for each experiment: daily, weekly, or twice weekly. The home screen shows which sessions are due.
Open an assigned experiment, read its short phrases aloud, and record them in the app. You can play a recording back and re-record before continuing.
Yes. The Exit control leaves the recording session without saving the unfinished session. Follow the instructions from your study team if you need help.
Teams can invite participants, create experiments with phrases and recording frequency, manage assignments, filter participant lists, and download recording data as CSV for analysis.
No. SoundWell is studying voice as a possible research signal. It is not presented as a diagnostic or prediction tool and should not replace medical care.
